I made mistakes in the beginning and I learned a lot and cried a lot. When I decided to breed livestock, I vowed that I would not do the same to my pigs or my customers. Therefore, when you purchase a pig from 6E Farmstead, we schedule a consult with you. You will come out to the farm to pick up your babies and I will give you a lesson on how to care for your new pigs. You will have plenty of time to ask questions while you are here. I will also send you home with our in depth care packet and will be available to answer your questions once they arise. We also provide a health and breeding guarantee for our registered pigs. Mentorship is a valuable aspect of what we offer.

Don't live in Northern California? No problem! We can help you find ground transportation for your pigs. Want them flown? Air shipping for piglets may be available out of Sacramento International Airport October through April.

Meat, Pet, & Companion Barrows
Barrows (castrated male pigs) have a variety of uses. They can be a fantastic pet, for those looking for a smaller more docile breed. They can provide companionship for other pigs such as boars, gilts, and sows. They can also be grown out for delicious marbled pork and beautiful pork lard. Join our mailing list to be notified when barrows become available. Barrows are $150 each at weaning. Barrows 3 months of age and older are you $150 minimum with an additional $5 per pound, on the hoof.
